Corporate Breathwork Wellness Hour




Pranayama (breathwork) is an ancient breathing technique that originates from yogic practices in India. The word prana is rooted in the verb an, which means to “breathe”, but also “to live” and “to move”.

It has more recently gained popularity in the western world because of its many health benefits.

•Unlike any other ANS (Autonomic Nervous System) function in the body, the breath is the only function that we can use to positively affect the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous System

Simply put, when we stop breathing, we stop living.

I think of breathwork as a vehicle/an ability to harness energy (mana/prana) and direct it to different areas of our body.
