What Lights You Up?


Is it a massage? Is it dinner out with your husband? Coffee with your bestie? Mani, pedi? Nightly bubble bath? Yummy smoothie? Using a new body scrub first thing in the morning?


Make a list. Be with this question.


The dailiness of motherhood and running a house can be so drying and energy sucking. And yet what people need from you, what your family needs from you is to be a bright light.


This is what has helped me to get stuff done but still remain a bright light:


1. Get your house under control.

*Declutter (purge don’t organize).

*Streamline house work.

*If you don’t know where to start, start with clothes and food. This is the bare minimum. When everyone is clothed and fed things feel a little more under control. (Check out my IGTV for ideas on how I do it.)


2. Alternate work (house & business) with pleasure. Work on what needs to be done for 45min and then take a 10-15 min break and recharge with something that gets you excited!
